With its comfortable furnishings and modern upgrades, Gray Door invites you to kick back and relax in true Austin style. The 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath Townhome recently underwent a $50,000 renovation updating every bedroom and bathroom to reflect a contemporary style highlighting the modern upgrades.
This is the perfect home for groups coming in town for the Austin City Limits music festival because it’s only a 8 minute walk to the festival gates. You can leave all the parking hassles behind and enjoy the music. The Townhome’s exceptional location also favors a night out on 6th Street, which is only a 4 minute cab ride away.
A welcome folder is on the entry table which has menus, maps, etc. Once you have settled in, enjoy the trails of Town Lake and Zilker Park or the live music scene in downtown!
Deep Eddy is a charming, quaint neighborhood that offers an abundance of outdoor activities, and is home to some of Austin’s original restaurants, such as Magnolia Cafe. It is best known for (and named after) the oldest man made swimming pool in Texas, and is walking distance to Town Lake Trail where locals go to run, bike and kayak. Best of all, you're just minutes away from the vibrant streets of downtown Austin.
The property is very nice and well kept. The location is great, just two blocks away from the trails. The owner and manager is very helpful. We stayed there for six weeks. The neighborhood is very convenient, everything you need is a few blocks away. Thank you for your hospitality. Alejandro O.
Down to the 12th hour, we had not found a rental for our Bachelor Party, and Kevin was very helpful at assisting us and making arrangements for our group of 6 guys!! The place was nice, clean, with accessible parking, and neatly decorated. We were able to use the kitchen for a few meals and had a nice Butler area for cocktails. Conveniently located, but a vehicle is recommended. The sleeping arrangement was a little tight with six full size men, however we managed. I have two recommendations for the landlord: to stock some extra pillows and blankets and/or air mattress to make sleeping more comfortable and to replace the AC control unit so it's easier to change and maintain temps. It would have made it a lot more comfortable coming back to a cool home after a day on Lake Travis. Otherwise the home is very suitable for a rental.
The house was more than what we expected. Karen even left us a bottle of wine for us to celebrate with. Karen was really easy to work with and I liked that the house worked on code that we were able to pick. Didn't have to worry about carrying around a set of keys. Their home was incredibly clean as well. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Austin.
Had a wonderful time in Austin thanks to Karen being such a gracious host. Their house is absolutely beautiful and the recent renovations really show. We had enough room for our group of 8. We made good use of the kitchen which was stocked better than we expected. Will stay here again on future visits.
Had an amazing time in Austin. The house was exactly as described in the pictures. The beds very comfortable and the bathrooms looked brand new. Couldnt have picked a house with a better location if you want to be close to downtown. The owner was ver accomodating and allowed us to check in early and check out late since our flights were late.
We visited Austin and wanted a home with a good location so we could sightsee and explore the town. This home was wonderful! It was clean, had everything we needed, and the owners were very accommodating and welcoming! They even helped us with a list of things to see and eat! The house was walking distance to Magnolia Café and a great hike and bike trail which made our mornings great! Recommend!
